Tele-Media Important Notice
Satellite Cable Interference
A TV communications satellite is drifting out of control thousands of miles above the earth, threatening to wander into another satellite’s orbit and interfere with cable programming across the United States.
Galaxy 15 continues to receive and transmit satellite signals, and they will probably overlap and interfere with signals from the second satellite, known as AMC 11, if Galaxy 15 drifts into its orbit as expected around May 23, 2010 to June 7, 2010.
We have been informed that viewers may see intermittent tiling ranging to complete loss of signal.
Listed below are the channels that may be affected by this issue:
Spike TV
TLC
Comedy Central
TV Land
Weather Channel
Home & Garden
Food Network
Hallmark
Great American Country
Fox Sports
C-SPAN
QVC
MTV
Tele-Media is closely monitoring the situation and staying in close contact with cable networks.
We will post an update when the transition is complete.
Thank you.
